Medication Compounding

The art of preparing medications dates back to the origins of pharmacy. At Milford Pharmacy & Wellness Center, we still practice the time proven art of compounding using modern variations of the "mortar and pestle" to prepare unique and individualized medications. Working with your doctor, compounding allows our pharmacists to customize the strength and dosage form of a medication according to individual needs. This may include making capsules, oral suspensions, topical or transdermal medications for you or your family pet. It may also involve adding flavors, or preparing a dye-free or preservative-free medication. The possibilities are endless. Pharmacists Jeff Hill and Jim Bock have over 60 years of combined experience and can formulate and prepare the medication specifically designed for you. Our staff also includes Jill Schad, RN who is expertly trained to provide private consultations for customized hormone replacement therapies (HRT). Our compounding services can enhance virtually any area of medicine including customized hormone replacement therapy, pain therapies, pediatric dosage forms and flavors, veterinary formulations, capsule and suppository preparations, skin preparations, hospice formulations, lip balms, medicated lozenges, or eye and ear drops. Flu and Pneumonia...we offer complete immunization services right in our store. With your doctor's permission (by prescription), we can give you your shots quickly and conveniently.
